A small but very competitive field met on the paved trails at the Ethan Allen Firing Range for the first of the three Vermont Biathlon Fall Cup races. Sprint format on a beautiful sunny morning and lots of good shooting. Ethan Dreissigacker left nothing to chance with the best shooting among the men and a fast roll around the course. Tara Gerahty-Moats put together an equally impressive race with the best shooting of the day which must of had her smiling and good form just one day after a podium finish at the Race to the Castle. Next race is a Pursuit format on October 2nd and I am already excited to see the Mass Start on October 23rd.
