We are very excited to announce the start of a youth biathlon program this summer aimed at getting kids between the ages of 10 and 13 a chance to learn biathlon skills in a safe and fun environment.
The club has purchased five state of the art (.177 pellet) air rifles and targets for this program. Even more exciting we have hired a new coach. Silke Hynes has joined us to bring her biathlon experience and help make this youth program a success. To start with the program will meet one evening a week on Tuesdays from 5 to 7pm. The cost will be $125 for the summer season including coaching and use of an air rifle. Kids from this program will be able to graduate to the standard biathlon rifles when they turn 14 and move up in the program.
