A large field of novices braved another sweltering night during the second race of the summer series. Dee Barbic and Sally Tomey pushed themselves over the hilly terrain to take first place in there class. Mike Scharn drove from the Black Hills of South Dakota and still had the energy to distance himself from the rest of the field for the overall win. He insured the win with near perfect shooting for the evening and the best shooting prize, to hold off Eli Walker who started fast with perfect shooting in the prone. Brian Letourneau returned to the race course to test his fitness. Matt Malmgren shot perfect for the evening to take the sweet novice shooting prize. Pursuit format next week with 4 shooting stops.
