Hot weather lead to hot racing for the third race of the season. A trio of fast runners including Derrek Schultz, Tyler Ludington, and Thomas (Mike) Scott stayed neck and neck through the first lap. Scott, running in the Sport class matched the shooting of Expert Ludington while Schultz fell behind in the first shooting. Close shooting on the second time into the range set-up a sprint finish with Scott just slipping ahead for the win. Andy Holt shot perfect in the Sport class to take home the cookies and his son Phillip had his best shooting of the season hitting 8 of 10. Andrea LaRosa and Debbie LaRosa gave biathlon a try on a tough night and both showed promise and a smile at the end. Thanks everyone for helping to put things away. No race next week!
