Racing returned to the range Thursday for the 4th race of the summer series. Tyler Ludington reeled Derrek Schultz in 100 meters from the finish line to win the expert class. Derrek had lead the race after shooting a clean prone stage and racing away from his competitors circling the penalty loop. The chase was on. The sport class was won by Thomas Scott once again to continue his season domination of that class. Andrea LaRosa took the win in the woman's sport class with a speedy run to make up for only three hits on the mat. Philip Holt took best shooting honors for the sport racers with just one miss. Two more summer series races to go.
